Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented California Coast
A helicopter hovering over a crowded coastal coastline unexpectedly began spiraling uncontrollably, eventually descending rapidly and plunging into a row of palm fronds as spectators observed.
Footage uploaded on the internet depict the aircraft starting to spin above the shoreline then descending in the direction of the border of the beach, where it gets stuck between palms and a set of stairs near the coastal road.
First Aid Update
Emergency responders stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the incident on the weekend.
Three persons on the street were injured. Information on their wounds were not immediately available.
