Labuschagne Dropped from Australia's ODI Squad Versus Team India

Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped from the three-match ODI series against India, with in-form Queensland teammate Matt Renshaw earning a shock selection.

The right-hander was left out from the ODI squad after being dismissed for one in his two batting efforts during the top-end series against South Africa in August. He has a top score of 47 in his most recent ten ODI batting appearances.

Renshaw's Return and Team Changes

“The bulk of the T20 squad will remain together as it’s an important period in the build towards the T20 World Cup next year, however we are aiming to find equilibrium to ensure we simultaneously get ready specific players for the Test matches ahead.”

Australia’s three-game ODI series against India commences on 19 October in Perth, before the opponents play five T20 internationals from October 29.
